The newest public art display in Mill Park is up just in time for the Christmas season, as children from local schools decorated trees in the Milton park.
On Dec. 16, the Milton Economic Development Committee hosted the tree-decorating event. Students from Milton Elementary School, H.O. Brittingham Elementary School and Mariner Middle School, all in Milton, made decorations for the trees. The trees were donated by i.g. Burton Auto Group.
The trees, which are balled and burlapped, will be in the park through the holiday season before being relocated along the Rails to Trails off Federal Street.
