Milton Community Food Pantry makes difference

January 16, 2020

The Milton Community Food Pantry recently received this note from one of our clients.  It is why we work so hard to do what we need to do to help feed people, whether it’s a temporary need or a more permanent need. We feel everyone should have enough to eat and to be able to provide for their families.

Milton Community Food Pantry:

“I want to thank you for your service.  Last year I was diagnosed with cancer and put on disability.  After having worked for more than 35 years, this was a shock for me, as well as my family, as I was never unable to provide for them. Your service has been a godsend and an answer to prayers.

“I also want to thank you for the variety of foods you offer. I’ve brought home foods I would never have bought in the grocery store, and I’ve had to find recipes for these foods.  I am happy to report that I have found that I like those different and interesting foods and will continue to experiment with what you offer.

“I thank you and my family thanks you!”

And thank you for your note.  It reminds us at the MCFP how important our work and our donors’ support is to local, struggling families!
