Milton Community Food Pantry seeks donations

June 11, 2019

This June, the Milton Community Food Pantry celebrates its fifth year of service to the community. It all started June 9, 2014, providing supplemental groceries to nine individuals. Now we routinely provide groceries for an average of 320 individuals a week. The need is great!

In addition to the fresh produce, baked goods and meats donated by generous businesses and individuals, each week the MCFP spends about $12 to provide three days of canned and packaged goods for a family of two. A family of four costs the MCFP about $22 a week.

On this, our fifth anniversary, we would like to ask if you can sponsor a family for one week or even one month. Will you donate $12 to help us feed a family of two for a week or $22 to help feed a family of four? Or even more if possible!

You can mail a check to the Milton Community Food Pantry, PO Box 84, Milton, DE 19968, or use the Donate button on our Facebook page @MCFPDelaware.

We truly appreciate the continued support of our generous Milton community! Thank you Milton!
