Milton Community Food Pantry thanks supporters

February 4, 2021

Although 2020 was an especially difficult year for so many in our community, it was also a year filled with generosity and caring. The Milton Community Food Pantry would like to take this opportunity to thank the many people, businesses, church groups and civic organizations who have helped us to fulfill our mission over the course of this most challenging year.  MCFP would like to give special thanks to Goshen United Methodist Church for allowing us to use their hall as our base of operations. Thanks as well to the town of Milton for allowing us to stage outdoor distributions from the municipal parking lot during the warmer months. Through the generosity of the Milton Community Foundation and the many community members who donated to the pantry as their charity of choice in supporting individuals impacted by the pandemic, this year we were able to give many of our patrons a special gift during the recent holiday season. Thanks to the support and generosity of a number of businesses and many individual donors, we were able to provide the makings of special holiday meals in addition to regular weekly staples during this season. The list of those whom we want to thank goes on and on - too many to mention one by one. Please know that all donations, no matter how large or small, no matter what type, are the backbone of our organization. We appreciate each and every one and could not carry out our work without them. Lastly, but most importantly, we would like to thank our many volunteers - those who are physically on the front lines as well as those who at this time have only been able to support the MCFP from the sidelines because of the pandemic. Our work could not be accomplished without each and every one of you.
