Milton Community Foundation supports Milton Food Pantry

The Milton Food Pantry, which is an all-volunteer organization, provides food to approximately 65 to 80 client families or approximately 250 to 350 individuals in the Milton area each week. 

The pantry receives donated food goods. Proper weighing of items is vital to pantry operations for receipts to donors and what is being provided to the families.

The pantry reached out to the Milton Community Foundation for help in obtaining a commercial-grade food weighing scale. The board of the foundation unanimously voted to provide the money for the pantry to purchase the scale. This request directly supports the mission of the foundation, which is to support and facilitate projects and programs that serve the Milton community.
