Milton couple to celebrate 50th wedding anniversary Aug. 7
The Rev. David and Leslie (Weech) Munro of Milton announce the celebration of their 50th wedding anniversary.
They were married Aug. 7, 1971, in Galesburg, Ill., with the Rev. George Nulph officiating.
The Munros have been blessed with three children, Krista Myers (Shad) of Quakertown, Pa; Anna Lewis (Mark) of Milton; and Jon (Julie) Munro of Kansas City, Mo.; along with four grandchildren, Peyton, Macy, Kayleigh, and Harrison, and the expected birth of Savannah in September.
Pastor Munro and Leslie have served churches in Michigan, South Carolina and Illinois. They have served at First Baptist Church of Lewes for the past 20 years.
Friends are invited to a drop-in reception for the Munros from 1 to 4 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 14, at the home of their daughter Anna, at 30219 Whitehall Drive, Milton.
