Milton Majors drop first game at Mid-Atlantic Regional

The Milton Major All-Stars dropped their first game at the Mid-Atlantic Regional in Bristol, Conn., 6-0 to a team from Berlin, Md.

Berlin scored runs in the second and third innings to build a 2-0 lead, but Milton could only manage two hits in the contest. Berlin added four more runs in the bottom of the fifth inning. 

Jase Mitchell and Frankie Fuscellaro registered Milton’s only hits in the game. 

Gage Joseph pitched four innings for Milton, striking out nine batters. Jayceon White entered the game in relief, throwing one inning and striking out one batter. 

The loss drops Milton into the losers’ bracket, where they will face the loser of Pennsylvania and New York at 4 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 7. 

The game can be streamed on ESPN+.
