A Milton man faces charges after threatening another man with a gun Oct. 9.
Police were called to a home at 2:18 p.m. in the 28000 block of West Springside Drive after a man, 42, told them Djuan Sheppard, 33, had pointed a gun at him during an argument before driving away on a moped, said Cpl. Jason Hatchell of the Delaware State Police.
Police spotted the moped in front of a nearby residence and arrested Sheppard without incident, Hatchell said.
Police found a black handgun and about 3 grams of marijuana on Sheppard, who was also wanted on felony weapon charges stemming from a similar incident involving the same victim, Hatchell said.
Sheppard was charged with four counts of felony aggravated menacing, two counts of possession of a firearm by person prohibited, four counts of possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, terroristic threatening, and other charges. He was arraigned at Justice of the Peace Court 3 and committed to Sussex Correctional Institution in default of $277,300 cash bond.
