Dr. Sterling H. Seemans was honored during the Aug. 17 Brandywine School District Board of Education meeting, when he was recognized as Principal of the Year, the state's highest school administrative award, by the Delaware Association of School Administrators.

He is the son of Milton artist and writer Pamella Bounds-Seemans and Jeff Seemans. Dr. Seemans has also recently been promoted to principal of Brandywine High School.
