Milton police honor Barbihaus Kennels of Dover

Milton Police Department honored Barbihaus Kennels of Dover for providing the department with two K-9 dogs.
Barbihaus Kennels owners Jay and Katie Davidson accepted the commendation from Chief Robert Longo Oct. 1. Three years ago, the kennel provided the first K-9, Xena, a Belgian Malinois and the department’s narcotics dog, which was purchased by the department through a grant.
The Davidsons gave the department its newest dog, Zoey, a 19-month-old Belgian Malinois and German shepherd mix. Zoey is in training to become an explosives-sniffing dog. RYAN MAVITY PHOTO
