January 20, 2019

It’s been years since Mr. Rogers first welcomed viewers to his neighborhood, but now his life is on the big screen again with the critically acclaimed documentary “Won’t You Be My Neighbor?” The film is an exploration of the life, lessons, and legacy of iconic children's television host Fred Rogers. See it at the historic Milton Theatre at 7 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 31, and learn about the man who helped raise three generations of Americans.

After the trailer premiered on what would have been Fred Rogers’ 90th birthday, the film debuted at the 2018 Sundance Film Festival and was released in theaters in June 2018. “Won’t You Be My Neighbor?” was the highest-grossing documentary film to ever hit theaters; it is a true testament to the enduring affection the country holds for the beloved host of “Mr. Rogers’ Neighborhood,” which ran from 1968 until 2001.

This event is for all ages. Tickets are $8-$10. Purchase tickets at www.MiltonTheatre.com, by calling 302-684-3038 or at the box office. The Milton Theatre is at 110 Union St., Milton.
