The Moorings at Lewes to host art reception Aug. 23
The Moorings at Lewes will host a wine and cheese art reception from 3 to 5 p.m., Friday, Aug. 23.
The reception is open to the public and provides an opportunity for residents of the Moorings at Lewes and guests to view works on display by local photographer Beth Franks. Photos will also be available for purchase. Wine and refreshments will be served.

Franks is known for her artistic portraiture and landscape photography. Originally from Baltimore, Franks relocated to Delaware three years ago and hasn't looked back. She teaches math at the Jefferson School in Georgetown, and spends her summers capturing the beauty of southern Delaware. Franks’ signature style is simple, clean backgrounds and beautiful lighting.
