Motorcyclist injured in Oak Orchard crash

The crash occurred on River Road in front of the Serendipity restaurant about 6:30 p.m. SOURCE: INDIAN RIVER VOLUNTEER FIRE COMPANY
A motorcyclist was airlifted to Christiana Hospital following an Aug. 2 crash on River Road in Oak Orchard.
Emergency responders from Indian River Volunteer Fire Company responded to the incident about 6:30 p.m. Additional assistance was provided by Delaware State Police, Mid-Sussex Rescue Squad and Sussex County Paramedics.
The crash occurred in front of the Serendipity restaurant. In addition to the motorcycle, the crash also involved a white Ford SUV.
The Delaware State Fire Police closed a section of River Road. Delaware State Police is investigating the incident.
