August 15, 2018

Members of the Mountaire Family came together for a luncheon at the Georgia House Restaurant in Millsboro July 23 to honor the 2018 Mountaire Scholarship recipients for the Selbyville and Millsboro complexes.

Representatives from Mountaire, the scholarship recipients and their invited guests participated. Children and grandchildren of employees, growers, and grain suppliers are all eligible to apply for $2,500 scholarships which are awarded on an annual basis. This year’s response was outstanding; the applicant pool was impressive.

“As a company that prides itself on operational excellence, leadership training and strong family values, we are honored to offer these scholarship opportunities,” said Pat Townsend, director of human resources. “Through this program we are able to assist the families that keep us strong, and meet and recognize some amazing young men and women.
