Mr Wash ready to keep cars shining during cicada season

As the cicadas are starting to emerge, one local business is ready for this once-in-a-17-year occurrence.

Nathan Harris, who heads the family-owned Mr Wash Car Wash, has been preparing for this happening for the past two months. The car wash chain’s Rehoboth Beach location at 19898 Hebron Road is ready to serve everyone who will be wanting to clean the remnants of the bugs underneath and on their cars.

“Many of our Mr Wash customers are on our unlimited monthly plan where they can get their car washed every day for one low price, so we are expecting to see some of the same faces and cars visiting us every day for the next two to three weeks,” said Harris. “We are pleased that our business will be able to keep area cars clean while these bugs are making their presence known.”

Mr Wash Car Wash, which uses the latest state-of-the-art equipment, has been around since 1958.
