Music school to feature Roadfeldt in Classical Café May 30

May 29, 2020

The Music School of Delaware will feature Classical Café as part of its virtual offerings at 10 a.m., Saturday, May 30.

The program will feature The Virtuoso with Dr. Holly Roadfeldt. "Louder. Faster. Higher." These words were heard over and over again by this week's Classical Café host when she was a collaborative pianist for one of the top saxophone studios in the country. But is becoming a virtuoso more than following this mantra? How is a virtuoso trained? What is a prodigy, really? Roadfeldt will host a lively discussion for her final café at the Music School, as she has accepted a position as director of Keyboard Studies at Lafayette College and will be teaching several courses at Muhlenberg College.

Cost is $10 per session. To register and view the complete schedule of virtual music events, go to musicschoolofdelaware.org. For more information, call 302-762-1132.
