Myers leadership an asset to Cape board

May 10, 2019

Dr. Alison Myers has been a strong voice for all members of the Cape Henlopen community, and she deserves our support in the upcoming school board election.

Anyone who attends school functions anywhere in the Cape Henlopen District knows Alison Myers.  She can be found in the crowd most nights of the week supporting the children of the school district and talking to parents about their concerns.  She is always interested in hearing suggestions and extraordinarily responsive when an issue needs to be addressed.

Dr. Myers’ passion is education and she has been working to improve the local schools since she moved to the community nearly a decade ago. Since her election to the school board she has been an asset to the Cape School District.  As president of the Cape Henlopen Board of Education, Dr. Myers is able to draw on her experience as a teacher and her education to ensure the district is able to meet the needs of all students. One of Dr. Myers’ greatest goals is to ensure each and every student in the district has the opportunities and support that they need to succeed.

The Cape Henlopen School District has become one of the best school districts in the state of Delaware, and with the right leadership it will only get better.  We should continue to support the efforts of Dr. Alison Myers by re-electing her May 14.
