In the Name of Love: Sundance turns 31

Popular fundraiser, dance benefits CAMP Rehoboth
September 12, 2018

Sundance 2018 - Rainbow XXXI, In the Name of Love, made its 31st appearance in Rehoboth Beach Sept. 1-2. The two-day event benefits CAMP Rehoboth and honors the memory of Executive Director Steve Elkins, who died March 15 after a lengthy battle with lymphoma.

The weekend started Sept. 1, with the Sundance Auction. Silent and live auctions raised funds for CAMP Rehoboth. Auctioneer Lorne Crawford belted out bids from the crowd to help the nonprofit community service organization. Dance music pounded and light jumped Sept. 2, as partiers enjoyed the dance portion of the weekend with music provided by DJs Robbie Leslie and Joe Gauthreaux. Paul Turner created a eye-catching light show.
