New class for kids to start at Heidi Lowe Gallery Jan. 11

December 30, 2020

Heidi Lowe Gallery will offer a fun eight-week class called Thinking Through Metal for kids 11-13 years old from 4:30 to 6 p.m., Mondays, Jan. 11 to March 1.

Participants will learn the basics of metalworking and explore ideas that intersect life and metal objects. Students will make a variety of wearable and non-wearable projects. It is a great way for kids to connect with each other, be creative, work with their hands and have a break from screens in a safe studio environment. The cost of the class includes the materials fee. No experience is necessary.

“It is so much fun to watch the kids express themselves in metal while learning how to make something new,” said Lowe.

Heidi Lowe Gallery is open for shopping by appointment, curbside pickup, and for private and group classes at 17522 Ward Ave. #2, Lewes.
