New Dickens Parlour Theatre site to adjoin Good Earth Market
Two well-known local entities, Dickens Parlour Theatre and Good Earth Market, have teamed up to offer extraordinary dining and world-class entertainment.
Groundbreaking for a brand-new, spacious setting for Dickens Parlour Theatre is scheduled to take place this summer. The new theatre will be bursting with magic, music and merriment for visitors to enjoy while experiencing local cuisine and crafted cocktails provided by the Good Earth culinary team.
Beyond the varied professional entertainment and dining offerings, the new theater will welcome private events such as anniversaries, birthdays, meetings, and informal public affairs and gatherings. The theater’s own open-air patio will adjoin Good Earth Market’s existing gardens and veranda, providing opportunities for community functions under the stars.
Good Earth Market owner Susan Ryan said, “The time is now ... we feel strongly that longtime local neighbors, and newly arrived retirees and families are looking for high-quality entertainment, cultural events and excellent local food. The new, 5,000-square-foot dinner theater, complete with spacious seating, state-of-the-art lighting, heating and ventilation, will be located immediately adjacent to the Good Earth Market on its existing 10-acre campus. Parking will be plentiful and free.
Dickens Parlour Theatre was previously located on Route 26 in Millville where entertainers thrilled family audiences for 10 years before it outgrew the space. Good Earth Market & Restaurant has been providing healthy gourmet food and dining on Route 26 since 2004.
