The New Life Thrift Shop’s annual Halloween Extravaganza will kick off with extended hours from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday, Sept. 28, at 34686 Jiffy Way off northbound Route 1 between Bethany Blues and Jiffy Lube, just south of Lewes.
For months, the shop’s volunteers been busy sorting, pricing and saving spectacular merchandise for this special event. Customers can find unique and affordable Halloween merchandise while also supporting an important community mission.
Selections include costumes for all ages, household decor, party and front lawn decorations, and a Peter’s Pumpkin Patch display. From little sticker books to treat bags, serving dishes to gag gifts and even full-scale skeletons, New Life has it.
New Life Thrift Shop is a program of the Lewes Rehoboth Association of Congregations and its proceeds help support LRAC and its work assisting individuals, families and organizations throughout the local community.
“We look forward to our Halloween Extravaganza every year,” said Andrea Caswell, manager of New Life Thrift Shop. It’s exciting to see everything come together and then watch our customers have so much fun searching for costumes, decorations and those unique Halloween treasures you just never know you’re going to find at a thrift shop.”
