Lewes Public Art Committee to meet Aug. 27
The Lewes Public Art Committee will meet at 9:30 a.m., Tuesday, Aug. 27, at city hall. The group will review its first public art seminar Aug. 24 and discuss an Art in Bloom road trip opportunity. Long-range plans will also be discussed. For more information, call city hall at 302-645-7777.
Lewes Board of Public Works to meet Aug. 28
The Lewes Board of Public Works will meet at 4 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 28, at city hall. Directors will receive a presentation on rates, reserve fund, capital projects and ready-to-serve charges. Officials may also discuss a waiver request for a pre-annexation agreement for a property at New Road and Captains Circle. Also on the agenda are discussions about the BPW’s preliminary audit report, BPW assistance on the Dutchman’s Harvest workforce housing project, and bad debt write-off for the 2018-19 fiscal year. Lewes byways committee to meet Aug. 28
The Historic Lewes Scenic Byway Committee will meet at 1 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 28, at city hall. The group will discuss the Lewes-Rehoboth Canal swing bridge, the work of the Five Points Working Group and progress of the New Road Master Plan.
