Rehoboth green committee to meet 

The Rehoboth Beach Trees and Green Infrastructure Committee has scheduled a meeting for 10 a.m., Friday, Nov. 17. 

The agenda calls for updates on the commemorative tree program, the tree tour/tree mapping project and the ivy eradication project at Deauville Beach.

The meeting will be conducted in the commissioners room of city hall, 229 Rehoboth Ave. A full agenda, meeting materials and a livestream are accessible at cityofrehoboth.civicweb.net

Rehoboth meeting slated for Nov. 17

Rehoboth Beach commissioners have scheduled a meeting for 2 p.m., Friday, Nov. 17. The agenda calls for continued discussion on the proposed Rehoboth Beach Patrol/public restroom facility on Baltimore Avenue at the Boardwalk. 

The agenda also calls for commissioners to consider an amendment to the lease with the Rehoboth Beach Historical Society to delete the requirement that a commissioner be on the society’s board of directors.

Cape school board meets Nov. 16

The Cape Henlopen school board will hold its regular monthly meeting at 6 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 16, at Love Creek Elementary. 

Members will possibly take action on elementary enrollment areas and a board policy on application consideration guidelines for school choice.

Dewey commissioners meet Nov. 17

Dewey Beach commissioners will meet at 6:30 p.m., Friday, Nov. 17, at the Lifesaving Station, 1 Dagsworthy Ave. 

A public hearing and possible vote will be held on an ordinance to amend code relating to minimum allowable distance between driveway entrances and intersections. Members may also vote to amend the 2024 fiscal year budget and to approve the capital expenditures budget.  Commissioners may also vote to approve a stormwater pipe relining project and a proposal for a flood mitigation project on Read Avenue.  For the full agenda, materials and link to the meeting, go to townofdeweybeach.com.
