Oldfather Group named to Real Trends Best Professionals list

July 11, 2021

The Oldfather Group of Compass Real Estate, with offices in Lewes, Milton and Fenwick Island, was recently named to the Real Trends/Tom Ferry America's Best Real Estate Professionals list for the United States.

Sponsored by Real Trends and Tom Ferry, this prestigious listing is in its ninth year and ranks the most productive agents by state and metropolitan areas based on closed transaction sides and closed volume.

To be included in the ranking, real estate teams must have closed at least 75 transactions or conducted at least $30 million in closed sales volume in 2020.

For the last calendar year, the Oldfather Group closed 415 transactions for a total of more than $164 million in sales volume in southern Delaware. The totals rank the firm as No. 2 in Delaware in both categories, with the total sales amount being the highest outside of metropolitan Wilmington.

The application process for the annual Top 1,000 list begins Jan. 1 each year and runs through March 31. Applicants are vetted in many different ways, including through personal contact, by reaching out to local and state realtors’ associations, and via independent third-party verification.

“It’s a great honor to be recognized in the Real Trends/Tom Ferry 1,000 as one of the top companies in the nation,” said Dustin Oldfather, chief executive of the Oldfather Group. “It means a great deal to know we’re making an impact on the lives of others. We continue to work to improve our services and give people the real estate experience they deserve.”

The Oldfather Group was founded in 2004 and specializes in real estate sales throughout coastal Delaware including Lewes, Rehoboth Beach, Dewey Beach, Bethany Beach and Fenwick Island; and now northern New Castle County; as well as the coastal Maryland towns of Ocean City and Berlin, and the capital city of Annapolis.
