Opening Your Heart yoga workshop set June 22

June 17, 2019

For International Yoga Day, Turning Point Yoga & Meditation will offer a half-day workshop, Opening Your Heart, from 1 to 4 p.m., Saturday, June 22, at the Olive Branch in Milton.

Participants will open their hearts to their inner selves, learn to trust in the process and go with the flow as life unfolds. Svaroopa Yoga specializes in unraveling the tensions at the base of the spine with compassion and ease. When tailbone muscles let go, a person feels less fear and the heart will automatically open.

Lissa Fountain, aka Yogeshwari, will guide attendees through an afternoon of core opening poses that will be both blissful and effective at releasing the armoring around their hearts. Participants will leave refreshed and centered, ready to engage in life with a new inner freedom and joy.

Fountain has been teaching yoga and meditation classes around Boston for 22 years. She discovered Svaroopa Yoga’s principle of tailbone release after years as a professional dancer. It healed her misaligned and very tight spine. It was the revelation of the bliss of her own being that propelled her to a deep and committed path of personal practice and teaching others. Her love of both asana and meditation infuses her teaching with clarity, compassion and joy.

This program is open to everyone. The cost is $55 payable in cash or check only. For more information or to register, contact Rajni (Chelsea) King at 302-430-1089 or RajniKing70@gmail.com or go to www.turningpointde.com.
