Operation Christmas CHEER seeks gifts

For more than 25 years, CHEER has been sponsoring Operation Christmas CHEER to provide a nutritious meal plus a gift for each senior client on Christmas Day.
Because of the isolation caused by COVID-19 restrictions, even more seniors are in need this Christmas. Unfortunately, fewer gifts are being donated to CHEER for this cause due to restrictions. CHEER is seeking help from the community with donations of unwrapped gifts for seniors – a pair of slippers, a sweater, some toiletries or a few puzzle books.
To donate, drop off gifts at any Sussex County CHEER center in Georgetown, Greenwood, Long Neck, Milton, Ocean View and Roxana. For more information, contact Robin at 302-515-3063.
