Otto Bela Vamos, 62, of Milton passed away Wednesday, Dec. 2, 2020, at his residence. He was born Dec. 21, 1957, in Louisville, Ky., son of Bela Vamos and Margaret (Vamos) Haug of Hungary.
He spent most of his life in New Jersey, then later relocated with his wife Susan and his children to the Delaware coast. Otto worked for Beebe Healthcare in Lewes, and held a professional license as a Master HVACR (Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning and Refrigeration).
Otto enjoyed surf fishing, spending time with his family and playing with his beloved dogs. He was a calm and gentle man who will be dearly missed.
Otto is survived by his mother, Margaret Haug; his stepfather, Ivar Haug; sisters, Ms. Sylvia Hunter and Dr. Maggie Battiato; his loving wife of 21 years, Susan Vamos; his children: Rachael Kneisly, Erik Vamos and Theo Vamos; his stepchildren: Brei Mascola and Steven Cubberly; his eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
