Police say Amber Kellner, 31, and James Fisher, 30, were squatting at a home on Lotus Lane without the homeowner’s permission. When officers arrived, they found Kellner, Fisher and three boys, aged 11, 10 and 7. Police say they also found narcotics, drug paraphernalia and stolen property inside the home.

Kellner and Fisher were arrested without incident, and the children were turned over to their legal guardian. Police say Kellner and Fisher had in their possession: 3.69 grams of psychedelic mushrooms, less than a gram of heroin, 43 grams of methamphetamine, 79 prescription pills and a stolen Wolf scooter, among other stolen items.

Kellner and Fisher were each charged with three felony counts of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, two felony counts of theft of $1,500 or greater, second-degree conspiracy, three counts of endangering the welfare of a child, two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance. They were each arraigned at Justice of the Peace Court 3 in Georgetown and held at Sussex Correctional Institute on $89,000 cash bond.
