Papa Grande's Coastal Taqueria in Rehoboth Beach is holding a bash Wednesday, Nov. 1 to celebrate the end of the season. The restaurant will close for the winter. Guests will be able to enjoy the happy hour menu prices all day. Among the selections are tacos, nachos and guacamole. There are also special beverage prices.
"Papa Grande's in Rehoboth Beach has become the go-to spot during summer," said Scott Kammerer, president of SoDel Concepts, which owns Papa Grande's and nine other coastal restaurants. The company also has The Clubhouse at Baywood in Long Neck.
Kammerer said the second-level deck, with its bar and al fresco dining, is the main reason why the restaurant is so consistently popular during the season. "People love it, and we had a great summer. We want to thank our loyal customers with the party on Nov. 1."
The Papa Grande's location in Fenwick Island will remain open during the winter. For information about SoDel Concepts and a listing of restaurants, go to sodelconcepts.com.
