Patricia Ann Strickland, devoted homemaker

Patricia Ann Strickland, 65, of Georgetown passed away peacefully in her sleep Monday, June 7, 2021, at her home.  She was born March 18, 1956, in Baltimore, Md., daughter of Elizabeth M. Moran and the late Edwin T. Moran.

Pattie graduated from Patapsco Senior High School in Dundalk, Md.  She enjoyed watching soap operas and wildlife in her yard, decorating, and being at home.  Pattie’s door was always open, welcoming family and friends at any hour of any day.  The most generous and loving person, she always saw the good in people.  A devoted homemaker, Pattie’s world was built around her family, and such was her passion in life.  She was a caring and supportive mother, daughter, grandmother, sister, and friend who will be greatly missed by all who had the good fortune to know her.

In addition to her mother, Pattie is survived by her daughter, Sarah Rebecca Bogardus (Michael) of Georgetown; her grandchildren:  Hayden Thomas Hastings and Hannah Grace Bogardus, both of Georgetown; her four sisters; her two brothers; and many cherished nieces and nephews.

Services will be private.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Dodd-Carey Chapel, Georgetown, DE.
