The people have spoken in Lewes

July 24, 2020

Thanks to the people of Lewes for turning out to vote last Saturday, and for turning out the old and welcoming in the new.  Yes, a new regime on the governing body of our town. The vote tells me that the people of Lewes want to move in a different direction.  The message is clear.  It seems that the New Road corridor and its future overdevelopment is one of the most concerning topics that the people are interested in.

Wish list - No townhouses!  Keep it low density, and as rural as possible, at most, single-family detached homes.  We have enough traffic, people, congestion, waste, etc. Here’s to the new regime! Congratulations and Good Luck!
