Photography exhibition opening held at Rehoboth Art League

The Rehoboth Art League held an opening reception for its 5th Annual Regional Juried Photography Exhibition Jan. 31. The exhibition represents a variety of photographs using traditional and unique methods from 37 artists, who were selected from over 144 submissions.
Artists were invited to apply from Delaware, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia, New Jersey, and Washington, D.C.
The juror and awards judge was Gabrielle Tillenburg, visual arts coordinator at the Mansion at Strathmore in Bethesda, Md.
Also on display was the Members’ Gallery Showcase featuring a wide variety of art including paintings, baskets, ceramics, fiber, glass, jewelry, metal, mixed media, photography, and woodwork by RAL members.

Washington, D.C. resident Matailong Du received second place for his untitled street scene from Prague. The prize was sponsored by Sally Packard and Dinah Reath.
Dick Snyder created this moody scene in Tunisia titled, “After the Souk has Closed.”
Standing next to her image “Night Lights” is trustee Brook Hedge.
Marta Nammack was juried into the exhibition with this image, “Through the Eye of the Vessel.”
