Phyllis ‘Sandy’ Diane Williams, Millsboro homemaker

February 18, 2020

Phyllis "Sandy" Diane Williams, 52, of Millsboro passed away peacefully Friday, Feb. 14, 2020, at the Delaware Hospice Center in Milford with loved ones by her side.

Sandy tried her hand at a number of things, but for the most part she was a homemaker. She had a deep love for coffee, crocheting, reading, and putting beautiful puzzles together, but her true passion was definitely spending time with her friends and family, especially her grandchildren.

Sandy is preceded in death by her mother Helen Hartness, and an older sister Helen Gail. She is survived by two sisters, Dorthy Kay and Tammy Faye; two brothers, Johnny and Eddie of North Carolina; her four children, Crystal Wothers of Millsboro, Charles Wayne Wothers Jr. and wife Ashley, Mary Figgatt and husband William of Camden, and Christine Ranshaw of Magnolia; her husband, William Williams of Millsboro; two "adopted" daughters, Nikki Smith and Johna Rector of Felton; and most importantly her 10 grandbabies, Carter, Shyanne, Aliza, Trinadie, Shelby, Saleena, William, Desireé, Alisha and Anastasia.

A Memorial Service will be held Sunday, Feb. 23, at 4 p.m., at Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming. Friends and family may come visit or call beforehand starting at 2 p.m.

The family asks that everyone in attendance please try to wear a shade of blue, as this was Sandy's favorite color and something she would have wanted. There will be a more private/intimate Celebration Of Life held by the family closer to her birthday in March.
