There must be a particular type of slob who walks their dog and doesn’t bring a dog waste bag because they lack the ability to put “I have to take the dog out” together with “I need to bring a bag to pick it up,” or picks up the dog waste, but leaves the bag trailside for someone to pick up and dispose of properly, or just doesn’t give a you-know-what about their community.
The amount of dog waste left on the Lewes-to-Georgetown Trail and on the trails in Cape Henlopen State Park is disgustingly amazing. If you think you are responsible and mature enough to have a dog, then be responsible and mature enough to pick up the dog’s waste and dispose of it properly.
We are provided so many stands to grab a few bags and places to dispose of them. There’s no excuse to not pick it up.
