PNC bank robber sought

Delaware State Police continue to search for a man who robbed the PNC Bank off Route 1 Jan. 19. 

The man entered the bank located at 19745 Sea Air Ave., Rehoboth Beach, at 3:17 p.m., and displayed an unknown type of gun before ordering everyone inside the bank into a back room, said Master Cpl. Heather Pepper of the Delaware State Police. He then obtained an undisclosed amount of money before fleeing the bank on foot in an unknown direction of travel, she said. No one was injured during the incident.

The man is described as 5-feet-10-inches to 6-feet tall, weighing 200-280 pounds with a large build, and wearing a dark-green hooded sweatshirt, dark pants with a light-colored or white article of clothing around the legs, and white Nike sneakers. He also was wearing a yellow-and-black scarf around his head and face, light-colored mask, sunglasses, and blue medical gloves.
