Po’ Boys Creole Restaurant hosted its second annual crawfish boil April 28 for Surfgimp Foundation, and raised almost $7,500. The event took place at Camp Arrowhead and featured an authentic Louisiana Crawfish Boil, food, beer, face painting, Frisbee golf tournament and music.

Michael Clampitt, who co-owns Milton-based Po’ Boys with his wife Melissa, said more than 200 people attended the boil. “Melissa and I love hosting the Crawfish Boil to raise money for the Surfgimp Foundation,” said Clampitt. “We feel honored and humbled the event sold out again. Camp Arrowhead was the perfect location. Thank you for all of the support from our customers and local community to make this such a successful and fun fundraiser.”

Surfgimp Foundation provides grants for people with disabilities who, like former Milton resident and quadriplegic surfer Jay Liesener, want to experience their dreams, as Liesener did before his death. For more information on Surfgimp Foundation, go to teamsurfgimpfoundation.org.
