Police investigate Lincoln shooting

Delaware State Police are investigating a shooting incident that occurred Oct. 4 in Lincoln.

Police were dispatched to a home at 6:03 a.m. in the 10000 block of Cedar Creek Road after a home was shot several times, said Master Cpl. Heather Pepper of the Delaware State Police. Through the investigation, she said, troopers found five gunshot holes in the front exterior of the home. One projectile was located on the floor inside, she said, and another had entered and lodged inside the living room television. Three shell casings were located in the roadway just north of the residence.

During the incident, Pepper said, there were four adults and two juveniles inside the home that were uninjured.

This case remains under investigation by the Delaware State Police Troop 4 Criminal Investigative Unit.
