Police investigate shooting in Lincoln

Delaware State Police are investigating a shooting incident that occurred Jan. 9 in Lincoln. 

Police responded at 1:55 a.m. to a home in the 19000 block of Bunting Avenue and learned that three adult residents were inside the home when an unknown suspect shot one round at the residence, said Master Cpl. Heather Pepper of the Delaware State Police. The bullet entered the home through an exterior wall into a bedroom where one of the residents was sleeping, continued traveling through an interior wall, and became lodged in a hallway ceiling. None of the residents were injured during the incident, Pepper said.
