A 55-year-old Milton man faces charges June 29 in connection with drug dealing on his property.

Police were conducting pro-active enforcement at 3:32 p.m. in a known drug traffic area when they stopped at a nuisance residence in the 28000 block of West Springfield Drive and saw a teen running from the rear of the property, said Cpl. Jason Hatchell of the Delaware State Police.

Police found the 15-year-old boy in the backyard of a nearby home, and found .65 grams of crack cocaine, drug paraphernalia, and under $100 on him, Hatchell said. The teen also had outstanding warrants for his arrest.

Police then returned to the nuisance property and charged Calvin Wyatt, 55, with felony maintaining a drug property. He was arraigned and released on his own recognizance.

The teen was charged with felony possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, third-degree criminal trespass, and resisting arrest. The teen was arraigned and committed to Stevenson House Detention Center in default of $4,600 secured bond.
