Two women face charges March 15 after police say they attacked the husband of one of the women.
Erica M. Parks, 39, of Dagsboro, and Crysta D. Adkins, 36, of Dover, went to a home about 5 p.m. in the 20000 block of Laurel Road in Millsboro where they argued with Parks’ husband, 40, said Master Cpl. Melissa Jaffe of the Delaware State Police.
The argument turned physical, and Parks struck her husband with a ratchet, and Adkins threatened him with a knife, Jaffe said. The women continued to grab the husband and scratch him before driving away in a gray Dodge Challenger, Jaffe said. The husband sustained minor injuries and declined medical treatment.
Police stopped the car on Main Street, and the women were taken into custody without incident. They were charged with possession of a deadly weapon during the commission of a felony, aggravated menacing, third-degree assault and offensive touching. Adkins was also charged with second-degree conspiracy.
Both women were released on unsecured bond; Parks on $22,000, Adkins on $27,000.
