Now through the end of the year, Above the Dunes in Rehoboth Beach will feature a holiday-themed pop-up bar called Miracle at Above the Dunes.
The Miracle concept began in 2014, when Greg Boehm transformed his New York City-based bar Mace into a winter wonderland during the weeks between Thanksgiving and Christmas. The concept has spread across the country, and according to a press release announcing the pop-up bar, Above the Dunes is one of nearly 200 locations participating.
Miracle at Above the Dunes will feature a holiday oasis with an over-the-top holiday-themed cocktail menu with fan favorites such as Christmapolitan, Christmas Carol Barrel, Snowball Old-Fashioned, Yippie Ki Yay Mother F****r!, Jingle Balls Nog, Nice Shot, and Naughty Shot. New this year are Santa Little Helper, Christmas Cricket, Holiday Spiked Chai, and Grandma Got Run Over by a T-Rex.
At the end of this pop-up season, Miracle will donate 10% of all proceeds from the sale of Santa Pants, Christmas Carol Barrel and Santa Heads signature glassware to the Seva Foundation, a global nonprofit eye care organization that works with local communities around the world.
Miracle at Above the Dunes is open 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., Sunday through Thursday, and 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., Friday and Saturday.
