Postal Pony recently opened its doors in Millsboro, providing residents and business owners with a convenient one-stop location for shipping and mailing services.

Postal Pony serves as an all-in-one, accessible location for shipping, printing, and business services. Customers can ship packages through major carriers (UPS, FedEx, and the United States Postal Service), rent mailboxes, access notary services, and utilize printing, copying, scanning, faxing and document services.

“It’s an essential business,” said co-owner Zeynep Murat. “Shipping is not going anywhere.”

The mother-daughter ownership team, Canan Oral and Zeynep Murat, recognized a gap in available shipping services in the area. For numerous local residents, shipping, returns and mailing needs require traveling to neighboring communities. The ownership team saw this as an opportunity to provide these services closer to home. Postal Pony officially opened its doors in October 2025. 

“We noticed ourselves that there were no shipping options here,” said Murat. “So we thought, why not look into it and get into the business model?”

One of the most rewarding parts of operating Postal Pony has been building relationships with a wide variety of different customers and becoming a convenient option within the local community.

“The most rewarding part would be meeting new people and building connections with the community,” said Murat. “Everyone that comes in says, ‘I’m so happy you’re here! It’s so relieving, I don’t have to drive to Ocean View anymore.’”

Looking to the future, the owners hope to build on the business's early success by further establishing Postal Pony within the community, with the long-term goal of expanding to a second location.

“I would say our goal is to establish this place, and then hopefully open up multiple locations," said Murat.

Postal Pony is located at 26670 Centerview Drive, Unit 13 in Millsboro. The shop is open 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday, and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturdays.
