Proposed 7-Eleven harbinger of future

September 27, 2019

The 7-Eleven at Route 24 and Angola Road would be a disaster for those of us who live in the area.

I understand that there is a lot of construction and development occurring in the area. It can be equated to “the train is coming.”

While we may not be able to stop the train or change its course, we most certainly can slow it down before it crashes.

What this means is that while we know that the building and developing will continue, we must slow it down and ensure it is done responsibly. Irresponsible building and development will lead to a substantial decrease in the quality of life for the residents of Sussex County.
