My husband and myself are full-time residents of Bayside Community and we would like to respond to the article “Bayside Homeowners File Suit Against Developer” Feb. 19.
First, regarding the Freeman attorney statement “possible motivation behind Green suit is to prevent completion of the community’s masterplan including the Freeman Arts Pavilion” is not the case, as the lawsuit began prior to announcement regarding Freeman Arts Pavilion.
A committee was established to aid in the transition from the Freeman board to homeowners. It comprises several homeowners with extensive backgrounds to assist with transition. But surprise - this team is being dissolved by the HOA Freeman-controlled board, which once again is not in the best interests of all Bayside homeowners. We ask, what is being hidden that Freeman does not desire to be known?
The goalposts (rules) keep getting farther and farther away to Freeman’s benefit.
Freeman has developed several properties in the Delmarva area. You would think by now they would know the rules and regulations for Delaware concerning development of a property this size. Makes you think, doesn’t it?
