RBHA thanks Rehoboth officials

June 4, 2020

The following letter was sent to Rehoboth Beach Mayor Paul Kuhns, with a copy submitted to the Cape Gazette for publication.

As we all navigate through these difficult and sometimes confusing times, we, the Rehoboth Beach Homeowners’ Association, would like to offer a heartfelt thank you to all those who have served our city so well every day throughout this pandemic.  We recognize the personal sacrifices and dedicated commitment city staff have made to ensure our safety and well-being.  We believe that you, our board of commissioners, our city manager, our chief of police, and every staff member in every city department have done an outstanding job.

We are also aware that the city was frequently and unfairly blamed for decisions made by the state, and that quite a few folks are unaware of just where the city limits of Rehoboth Beach are located. We are indeed fortunate to have such an outstanding group of people to serve us, and we thank each and every one.

Charlie Browne, president
Mark Saunders, president-elect
Rehoboth Beach Homeowners’ Association
