Reader asks Gazette to stay local

January 15, 2021

I normally don’t read the letters, only articles covering what’s going on in the region, but I have to agree with Jim Chwirut. Most larger publications bombard us with left and right, and then there’s Fox duking it out with CNN.

These days, things are stressful enough with COVID without being exposed to continuous political rant; nerves are raw and we all need a break!

I find reading the Cape Gazette soothing - I vacation in Southern Delaware, and was heartbroken to miss this year.

Keep on keeping it real, and leave the grandstanding to the big-city newspapers!
