Reception set Nov. 16 for Jack Knight solo art show

The Foyer Gallery in the Salisbury Art Space, Salisbury, Md., will host a solo show by Long Neck artist Jack Knight from Saturday, Nov. 10 to Saturday, Dec. 29. The Amazing Grace Series exhibit will feature small paintings and mixed-media constructions by Knight. This series is an ongoing experimental project exploring surface techniques using oil-based enamel paint in a spontaneous abstract format. An artist reception will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., Friday, Nov. 16.

Artwork prices start at $80. Knight has exhibited his work regionally at the Rehoboth Art League, Gallery 37 in Milford, Delaware Contemporary and Chris White Gallery in Wilmington, Delaware State University, and Academy Art Museum, Easton, Md. He is a member of the Biggs Museum's Delaware By Hand Artists, Academy Art Museum, Delaware Contemporary and Philadelphia Sculptors. He has received numerous awards for his paintings and constructions, and is represented in several corporate and private collections.

Knight is also featured in the recently published book "The Delmarva School of Art,” written by Dana Kester-McCabe. The Salisbury Art Space is free and open to the public.
