Red Hat Majestic Matrons donate flip-flops for People’s Place

August 19, 2018

The Majestic Matrons Red Hat group collected 27 pairs of flip–flops for women and children who have experienced domestic violence; they were delivered to Shell We Bounce Trampoline Park July 26.

The flip-flops were donated at a recent Majestic Matrons Red Hat luncheon held at the Ocean Point Diner in Long Neck. Luncheon hostesses were Joan Sharpe, Kathy Asmussen and Joan Boxer.

The GFWC Zwaanendael Women's Club has been partnering with Shell We Bounce to collect flip-flops to be given to People’s Place in Milford.

Maxine McWhorter-Ungerbuehler is the Majestic Matrons queen mother, and she is also a member of the Zwaanendael Women's Club of Lewes.
