Rehoboth Beach Farmers’ Holiday Market set Nov. 24

November 20, 2018

The annual Rehoboth Beach Farmers’ Holiday Market will be held under the tents at Grove Park the Saturday after Thanksgiving, Nov. 24, from noon to 3 p.m.

This crowd-pleasing event has vendors offering seasonal produce such as apples, winter squashes, pumpkins, sweet potatoes, winter greens and a selection of herbs. Other vendors will have sausages, pork products, fresh eggs, olive oil, Mediterranean spices and honey products from local bee hives.

Prepared foods will be available from the Corn Exchange and Meat and Seafood.  Local artisans will have one-of-a-kind wooden cutting boards and bread boards, sea glass jewelry and wine stoppers, holiday aprons, and calendar and cards for sale. The holiday crowd will find many other choices for holiday gifts such as distinctive pottery items crafted by Rehoboth Art League potters, lavender products, scented teas, jams and jellies, artist decorated soaps, ornaments and unique natural skin care products.

Fresh holiday wreaths and table decorations can be purchased at Turning Pointe Farm tent.  Shoppers can sip cider and munch on cookies served by Santa’s elves while enjoying holiday songs by the CAMP Rehoboth Chorus.  The RBFM Information Tent has special market items for sale, such as insulated market bags, flexible cutting boards and the favorite market dish towels.  All proceeds of purchases made at the information tent are used for tent maintenance and entertainment throughout the May through October market season.
