Rehoboth Beach farmers holiday market set Nov. 30

November 21, 2019

The annual Rehoboth Beach Farmers Holiday Market will be held from 12 to 3 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 30, under the tents at Grove Park.

This popular event has many summer vendors returning to offer seasonal produce such as apples, winter squash, pumpkins, sweet potatoes, winter greens and a selection of herbs. Other vendors will have sausages, pork products, fresh eggs, olive oil, Mediterranean spices and honey products from local beehives. Prepared foods will be available.

Local artisans will have one-of-a-kind wooden cutting boards and bread boards, sea glass jewelry and wine stoppers, and calendars and cards for sale. The holiday crowd will find many other gift choices such as distinctive items crafted by Rehoboth Art League potters, lavender products, scented teas, jams and jellies, artist-decorated soaps, ornaments and unique natural skin care products.

Shoppers can sip cider and munch on cookies served by Santa’s elves while enjoying holiday songs by the CAMP Rehoboth Chorus. A basket of market items will be raffled off toward the end of the market. The RBFM Information Tent has special market items for sale, such as insulated market bags in holiday colors, flexible cutting boards, oven mitts and market dish towels.

All proceeds from sales at the information tent are used to purchase and maintain market-supplied vendor tents and for entertainment during the May to October market season. Rehoboth Beach Farmers Market is a nonprofit organization that accepts donations which are fully deductible. For more information, find Rehoboth Beach Farmers Market on Facebook.
